Kill Will: A FringeArts Battle of the Good, “the Bard,” and the Ugly

Tuesday, September 15 – Saturday, September 19, 2015

The Philadelphia Shakespeare Theatre presents William Shakespeare like you’ve never seen him before for a five-day battle bonanza! Kill Will features all of Shakespeare’s best “bloody bits” with a collection of killer fight scenes from many of your favorite Shakespeare plays including King Lear, Hamlet, As You Like it, and Macbeth. This exciting FringeArts festival piece is a sublime combination of poetic text and thrilling fight choreography with swords, daggers, and hilarious havoc all mixed in. It’s the Good, “the Bard,” and the Ugly!

Written by Derek Davidson and directed by Kevin McGuire, the play opens Tuesday, September 15 and runs through Saturday, September 19, 2015, as part of the Philadelphia FringeArts Festival. Tickets are $15 (student rates available).

FringeArts (formerly Philadelphia Live Arts Festival & Philly Fringe) exists to commission, develop and present a range of high‐quality contemporary performing and visual arts. Every September the Fringe Festival features boundary‐breaking work created by some of the most renowned contemporary artists from our region and around the world, and serves as a collective home for artists to bring their artistic visions to audiences without any curatorial barriers. Our community is enriched as art takes over our neighborhoods, animating the spaces of our city from traditional theaters to corner bars and vacant storefronts.
