The Philadelphia Shakespeare Theatre is currently seeking professional non-union actors for the role of Juliet for its 2020 Romeo & Juliet touring production.

This professional tour is a six-person ensemble, with actors playing multiple roles in Romeo and Juliet. Actors must have substantial experience/training performing Shakespeare. Dates of rehearsal and performances: March 10-May 8, 2020. Rehearsals and performances are daytime. There is the possibility of an extension week. Actors must be available through May 15, 2020. Actors will be informed about the extension week by December 2019.

The tour travels to high schools and colleges in the Delaware Valley region and is a great collegial experience with competitive pay. This is a rigorous tour and actors must be flexible and easy to get along with, as well as demonstrating talent and skill in Shakespeare techniques of acting. A good sense of humor is a great help!

Rehearsals are 10am-6pm from March 10-29, 2020 (daytime rehearsals)
Performances are from March 30-May 8, 2020 (Mon-Fri, daytimes)
There is the possibility of an extension week May 11-15. Actors must be available through May 15, 2020
