year The Philadelphia Shakespeare Theatre will be offering free
performances of Othello on Wednesday nights (with the exception of the
first week of April, when the free performance will be offered on
Thursday, April 4, 2013), thanks to a generous sponsorship by PNC
ArtsAlive. The Philadelphia Shakespeare Theatre is committed to making
Shakespeare accessible to all, including those who may typically be
unable to access the theatre. As part of this collaboration, PNC
ArtsAlive and The Philadelphia Shakespeare Theatre will be providing
transportation to and from the theatre for underserved communities
(locations to be announced closer to the season). Dates for Free Will Wednesdays: March 20 and 27, April 10, 17, and 24, May 1, 8, and 15.
To reserve your seats for Free Will
Wednesdays, you must call our Box Office at 215-496-8001 between the
hours of 10am and 4pm, Monday through Friday. Please note that there is a 4-ticket limit for each patron, and groups/group discounts do not apply to these performances. Tickets are subject to availability.
