Support The Philadelphia Shakespeare Theatre
Individual donations are the foundation of everything audiences have come to expect from The Philadelphia Shakespeare Theatre: clear, evocative, world-class productions, beautiful design and music, and unforgettable acting. Your gifts also help us ensure the future of classical theatre in America, by training young actors and designers, and developing new talent. Your contribution helps us maintain our commitment to affordable tickets. Also your donation supports our Open Door Project, exposing a whole new generation to the transformative works of Shakespeare through exceptional educational programming in our local schools.

To join The Philadelphia Shakespeare Theatre, call us at 215-496-9722 ext 104 or send a check to us at Attn. Development Department, 2111 Sansom Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103.

(in addition, donations at this level receive our press releases and newsletters)

  • $68 pays for van rental and gas for our school touring production
(in addition, donations at this level receive free ticket exchanges)

  • $127 sends our teaching/artist to bring Shakespeare alive to a school classroom

  • $300 brings an entire classroom of underserved students to see a main stage production
(in addition, provides a backstage tour for you and a guest)

  • $450 represents one dollar for every year since Shakespeare’s birth and will help underwrite our free ‘Year of the Bard’ activities for everyone in 2014
(in addition, donors at this level will receive special invitations to meet with our casts)
